Welcome to Bethany and Liam’s Wedding
Bethany and Liam’s journey began with Attention to Detail a year before their wedding, at a wedding fayre, held at Holdsworth House.
Their journey would evolve from them being an excitable engaged couple, to careful planners, to further considerate organisers, right through to having their perfect marriage celebration at the very place where they first met Attention to Detail….Holdsworth House. Bethany and Liam tied the knot on Saturday 30th March 2019, and wow! What a stunning wedding (even if we do say so ourselves!) finished beautifully with so many delicate and romantic touches!
So, what were the delicate and romantic touches? Starting outwards and working our way in, Bethany and Liam’s colour theme was white, grey and blush pink. White table cloths and white chair covers were paired with blush and platinum organza sashes and table runners. Their theme would be continuously highlighted through their table centres by using alternating large silver lanterns and tall martini glasses topped with beautiful matching floral arrangements. All table centre pieces were placed on a large circular mirror plate in order to give the centre pieces some real ground to stand on and amazing reflections. Smaller details were introduced, such as clear sprinkles and organza favour bags decorated with matching ribbon finished with place name cards which were delicately placed on the tables, building on their romantic theme!
The vintage white step ladders are one of Attention to Detail’s most popular items, and this wedding really proved why they are so popular. The ladders looked stunning, standing tall with the table plan displayed in vintage photo frames. Twinkling down the centre of the ladders were the ‘LOVE’ letters, accompanied by foliage draping. This is such a wonderful way to display your table plan, it always achieves a smart, clear and pretty look.
Flowers were an area which saw Bethany and Liam needing a little bit of guidance and inspiration on. Thankfully Ros’ extended knowledge was to hand and again Attention to Detail were able to provide a consistent service of style from the decor to the accessories through to the flower choices. After an initial meeting and discussion, the flowers which were considerately chosen for Bethany’s bridal bouquet were cream avalanche roses with gypsophelia and draping foliage. For her bridesmaids, she went with sweet avalanche (blush pink) roses, gypsophelia and draping foliage. A stunning choice, which flowed and complimented the theme beautifully. Her bridal bouquets were then displayed across the front of their top table, making full use out of all elements and creating a stunning look for the most important table in the room.
It was important for both Bethany and Liam to feel confident with their supplier choices for their wedding, whether this was with the venue itself or the venue dressers (us). It was a bonus that Ros has a great relationship with Holdsworth House and loves dressing this stunning historical building.
Her knowledge and familiarity with the venue played a great part in providing helpful suggestions as to the decor, how to best accessorise effectively, and what colour schemes would be most complimentary. In Liam’s own words he said ‘The whole process was seamless, we didn’t have to worry about anything, everything happened so smoothly in the background, which is what you want at a wedding’, when asked if he would recommend Attention to Detail, Liam enthusiastically said ‘10 times over!’.
Interestingly, Liam went onto say that ‘Where ever possible, put your funds where you can, and if you can invest a little more into a service like what Attention to Detail can provide, do that. When the service is so good you forget about the bill!’.
